I am a bead maniac, surrounded by 200,000 beads...and I'm talking about my PRIVATE collection! :) I began selling beads online and in my Etsy shop just to have an excuse to buy more beads.
I began creating jewelry about 5 years ago when the urge to express myself this way became too much to resist. My style is pretty eclectic...or maybe a reflection of my inability to stick with any given style..not sure.
My bead website address: www.beadlovers.net.
My blog is a platform I use to get the word out about a small, 16-child orphanage that I support in Ethiopia, Africa. About 12 other Etsy Artisans have gotten involved with this group and there is plenty of room for more interested, caring people to get involved.
Right now, we are in the middle of a sewing spree - sewing skirts for the girls and shorts for the boys, all of which will be consolidated by me and sent to this group in mid-November as a Christmas care package. You are welcome to get involved!
I just joined Etsy Bead Swap, a Flickr group created by superfavorite. It hasn't "taken off" yet but promises to be really fun once it does.
